Summary:

The fall season usually brings us fewer sales, but we believe we’re also starting to see some slowdown in the market as a result of global geopolitical unrest, with interruptions in the normal flows of international trade creating economic uncertainty, inflation and rising mortgage rates. And since our data, as we have pointed out in the past, reflects economic decisions made 1-2 months ago, we are expecting to see these trends continue into the coming months.

So, for at least the remainder of the year and likely extending into next spring as well, we think the northern Colorado real estate market will generally be less active, with fewer homes both on the market and sold, and less upward pressure on home prices.

As always, we’ll be watching closely and we’ll do our best to keep you informed. And please know that we’re always here to answer your questions and concerns or just chat about real estate – please give us a call anytime.
